Easy Fruit Smoothie

With the new year, so comes the resolutions.
The only reason that I've kicked the healthy eating and working out up a notch is now I'm not tempted with party foods and drinks.
We've hit a calm again, and it just so happens to be after January 1st.
And I need to be hot for the beach in less than two months. (VACATION IN LESS THAN TWO MONTHS!)

Things needs to be super simple around here in order to have staying power.
Remember my cleaning calendar {here}  It's actually held up.  Things have changed slightly since I started working a few days a week, but overall, we have a relatively clean home, and it's not all done on the weekend.  Miracles can happen!

I know smoothies are nothing new.
You can find 100s of Pins and recipes out there.
I am posting this as a way to hold myself accountable and hopefully inspire you to take a step towards making your home a little simpler.

Gather up a few bags of your favorite frozen fruit and a container of Greek Yogurt.
I started by dishing out the yogurt into a silicon ice cube tray.  I used these when I made baby food for Liv, so I know each spot holds about 1oz of food.  You can also spoon in fresh (not frozen) yogurt in the day of making as well.  But I need one less step in my world!  I frozen the cubes solid and put 1 cube into each bag.
Each bag also got about 1/4 (or so) of fruit into each little baggie.
Zip tight and toss in the freezer.

Blend up with some ice and milk (for a creamier drink) or juice (for a fruitier drink).
If you don't have a Magic Bullet blender, you should get one.  So easy for things like this.  Save yourself the hassle of having to wash out the GIANT blender every time!

Cheers to you!

We have a magic bullet! An this was something I was going to do after my grocery trip this week! Have you added spinach? I saw a pin for one that added spinach but afraid it'll change the taste.

I like the idea of freezing the yogurt. I don't do resolutions, but it's nice to have a fresh start at the beginning of the year to try some new things and rejuvenate yourself :) Those smoothies look YUM!
