Preschool Milestone {check}

My baby is going to preschool.

Two days a week.
Two and a half hours.
300 minutes a week.

I know I'm not the only one who goes through this.
And I know each year it will get harder to believe.
Kindergarten.
Second grade.
Sixth grade.
Freshman.
Senior.
College.
Empty nest.

Where is that screeching, pink thing they handed me in the hospital and trusted me to care for?
Where is that baby that I eagerly hopped out of bed for in the first weeks to feed and cuddle in the dark hours of the night?
What happened to that little body that could lay the short-way in a crib and not touch a rail on either side?
Where is that girl who I spoon-fed her first tastes of sweet potato (though she hasn't had a bite since that awful mush stage passed!)
What happened to that little girl who signed "milk" and called every animal a "dog?"
My little girl, who became a big sister, and then a big girl,
Who went to preschool.
How did she get so big so fast?  There hasn't been enough time.

I tried to snap as many photos as I could.
They are crap.  They are not frame worthy, and I know there are a million more moms with better cameras and editing tricks up their sleeves.
But these are a few shots that I tried to snag from the day
So when I'm old and grey,
I can remember that I had a little girl who went to her first day of preschool.

And I loved her more than my heart could hold.
