Sugar Cookie Bars

Remember FRIENDS?  Who doesn't - for 10 years, every Thursday, we laughed and cried and hung on every word of those silly six best friends.  Dreaming of a super cool New York apartment with Rachel's gorgeous hair and having the sharp wit of Chandler.

Remember The One with Pheobe's Cookies?  Monica is killing herself over figuring out Pheobe's grandmother's secret cookie recipe, only to find out they are the same exact ones as the Nestle Tollhouse bag?  Hilarious!  "You American's always butcher the French language."

Being home, I am trying to be healthier, but I also want to be the mom with the fun treats.  And this is a recipe where little hands can help measure the ingredients, count the scoops and help dump everything together.  Then mom happily flips on the Kitchen Aid mixer and let's that little baby do all the heavy lifting.

I used Jaclyn's recipe from Cooking Classy {here}, including homemade frosting.  Tasty, yes.  But the easy of the canned stuff is sure hard to beat!

And while Jaclyn's decorating skills are prettier, but I have to say, I do like the usage of pink frosting and EVERY sprinkle we had in the house to decorate ours!
