Glazed Peaches

I haven't tried many of my 50 foil packets, but this one will be hard to beat.

Super simple and so amazingly delicious.  I know it's cheesy to say, but I truly wish that I had smell-o-vision for these photos.  There's something about caramel... yummy.

The culinary geniuses at The Food Network don't instruct on how these should be used.  I imagine, just warm on a plate after a delicious summer meal.  We have ice cream in the fridge, so far be it from me to leave that go uneaten.

Take 4 peaches, and pit and quarter them
Toss together with 3 tablespoons of brown sugar and a dash of cinnamon.  (maybe 1/8 tsp)
Dump into the center of your foil sheet and dot with 2 tablespoons of butter.

Grill over medium-high heat for 10-12 minutes.  For softer, super ripe fruit, I would err on the shorter side.  For those peaches that are still firm and not super juicy, you could let them go for an extra minute or so.

When you unwrap this present, you'll find shiny, golden peaches, swimming in brown sugar caramel.  Be really carefully - it will be HOT and MESSY.  I opened one edge of the foil pack, gently lifted into my bowl and tipped the fruit and caramel out.

Let them cool slightly (or a lot depending on what you want them for)  The caramel will thicken into a gorgeous drizzle perfect for my our ice cream treat.

Don't miss the gold wrap bracelet giveaway.  I seriously want one for myself - trying to figure out how to hijack the winner!
